I do like the shape of the gear. Perhaps the icon (gear) is to flat and simple? Could you try add some lines to it, to give it a slightly more "2D" impression? Thanks in advance!

I like the gear! But I dont like the bend inside it. Can you remove the bend. And perhaps make a test of a even fatter (more bold) gear? This is a promising design!
