In the past logos used illustrations to communicate the business and the product in a realistic way, for a few different reasons, which include the fact that Many people couldn't read so a graphic element was added to the words, there was no Advertise no Pictures no Videos at that time, so the logo was the only way the company could show their business to the public thats why included an illustration. Today the world is different, in fact you just used a couple of pictures to show us your business , you didn't use a couple of illustrations. Thats why you don't need an illustration in your logo, you logo will always be in his context, Hats, shirts, equipment, pictures and videos of people at work while wearing your logo will be enough to tell a story. The most important property i kept from the old logo, is not having an illustration however if is that what you like i can try and do some new revisions for you one example of this could be the old IVORY soap logo, at first it had hands and soap in the logo, now it just says IVORY, with no references to soap or hands. however thank you again, has been really interesting for me to design this concept i see if i can produce some more options for you to see, have a great day Domenico 7 years ago GDPopovich commented on #98 Withdrawn Enjoying the look and feel. I can see it fit well on our equipment. My concern is using it to represent the entire company. Please don't get me wrong, I was hoping for something that tells more of a story. We inherited the old logo from the previous owners. To be honest, I never really cared for it. I understand the need to keep some familiarity but I want to pitch this new company as "growing"... new location, new company, same products and service. Will await additional themes on your end. I would like to keep this in our arsenal for product usage (if you are inclined to release (nay, sell). Can you work your magic into more of a story re: logo? Thanks, Geoff 7 years ago Mimmo commented on #100 Withdrawn the logo you already use in your website has some properties that we should keep in the new concept, i redesigned the letters from scratches using a rectangular module repeated to form each letter , the 3 letters are placed inside 2 equal squares (M)(PI) to create a sense of symmetry , colors can be changed anytime 7 years ago Mimmo commented on #98 Withdrawn p is larger in this version 7 years ago Mimmo commented on #97 Withdrawn P is larger in this one 7 years ago
