I really like #201. Would you show me this design with a cross similar to this one here behind it? It cannot be the exact same cross as it belongs to chrome hearts but something similar would work.

I believe we also need to remove the 2 dots from the "e" in brew. In German it's only used on the A, I, O. In Old English only when there are 2 vowels continuous, I may be wrong, but that's my understanding. What is yours?
I appreciate you getting back with me so quickly and glad you like the design! I'll get starting on incorporating the cross into the design. I just want to clarify that the cross has been your suggestion in the contest though, because the number one ranked design is using one. If you're the one that suggested it there should be no issue, but if not I'm sure I'll get called out for "copying".
As far as the two dots, I think your right. Putting them over the E was mostly for visual purposes. It may end up that I have to remove them from the O also. Someone launched a logo court violation against it because it's similar to the band's use. Which I didn't realize that was unique to the band. I thought it was more a grammar thing, so I'll have to see how that plays out.
Thanks again for the interest and feedback. Let me know if you think of anything in the mean time. I'll get the updated design ready soon. Thanks!

I had to remove #201 due to the dots over the letters. That is unique to the band after all. I've updated the new design #218 with a cross added like you requested. Let me know if there's anything else. Thanks again!
Sure I can throw in some color. I had to remove 201 because we aren't allowed to use the dots over the letters. They are unique to the band's logo, so it violates copyright rules. Sorry about that.
#221 introduces a little color without it being overkill I think. I kept it pretty neutral for flexibility but if you want different shades we can give those a try too, no problem.
Beautiful. My vote is for you as a winner. Will need to run by my team in the morning. May end it early. Just found out that Faith was the one that opened the complaint on the 2 dots. I explained that the 2 dots is known at an Umlaut and used in German. It's not trademark able. Regardless we don't need it.
Yeah I agree, I don't think they are a necessity either way. Glad you like everything so far and just keep me posted if the team wants any changes after you meet. Thanks again!
Sure. What do you think they mean by toning down the top part of the cross? Is the swirl too much? Or is it the lines and detail within the cross? I did the very top swirl on the cross to tie it in with the styling of the text, but if that's what they don't like I can try something else.
So I submitted #229 and #230 that incorporate other ideas than the cross and relate more to the brand. The reason being is I'm still trying to find out if I'll be able to use the cross in my design. There's an issue about it being too similar to an existing design. I'm trying to find out more from administration and will keep you posted. Thanks!
I'd also lie to see how that will look on a white background with the nipple top in black instead of purple. The tube can be purple but make the top black.
I just posted this update. Wanted to make sure you got it.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Our team internally has expressed some concern over the use of a cross that looks too religious. We would like to focus on more gothic symbols. There are crosses that are considered more gothic than religious and you can see some of them here in this image. You will see they are more evenly crossed. Let's focus on designs that have our name along with a gothic style cross or other symbol.
I wanted to pass along this suggestion for another concept. the idea is a large drop as the background image. Watch this video here... http://screencast.com/t/pME9ZmOl7
#245 is a combination of the droplet and gothic cross idea. I incorporated the droplet into the center of the cross instead of doing the stand alone droplet. It was too big and was missing a large section from the center because of the text, so it wasn't very recognizable.
I'll see what I can do about the wood and fleur de lis, but I can't get to close to how #220 did his styling without there being issues.
Can you show me #234 in an alternate layout so it's taller and less wide. The idea is we need to be able to put it on a bottle so we need a vertical layout as well for the bottle. Perhaps putting "Brew" under "Motley"?
Sure. Keep in mind the taller you go with the design you eat up space underneath for the information you need to fit on the label also.
I've got some more ideas I'm exploring to submit soon also. And I went ahead and removed the cross designs because it wasn't worth getting booted out of the contest for since they weren't as highly ranked as my latest entries. There was some conflict over how I had the cross positioned similar to another designer. Just trying to pick my battles ha.
But I'll get some tweaks made to #234 and upload some alternate designs also pretty soon. Thanks!!
i think on #234 and #297 you have some inconsistency with the small thin double lines under and above the words. one shows a gray fill and the other doesn't. I think I prefer them all with NO gray fill. I'm referring to the thin lines that create the separation between the purple Fleur and the letters.
They are all thin black lines in the art file. I think the site compresses them when uploading so some quality and crispness is lost. I uploaded new ones that should appear more accurate.
Made a couple changes and gave another droplet option. I still like the idea of the droplet because it ties back to what the brand actually does. Thanks!
