Morrisville BoroughLogo Design Contest

Hello, here is my first entry. If you would like to see any changes to this design, just let me know. Thanks!

I like the outer ring. Perhaps place "Pennsylvania and the year Morrisville Borough was incorporated at the bottom. Also, eliminate the sunburst. I think it too closely resembles the logo of the organization I work for. Can you try it without pine trees and include a few historic buildings? I like the trees - just not pine.

The buildings and trees look a little 'folksy' if that makes sense. Is there a way to change that?

There is, but it would take a lot of work for such a big scene with several buildings and trees. Unfortunately I'm rather busy at the moment, but if I do find enough time before the contest ends, I'll submit another entry.
