#10, #11, #12, #13 - I'm fairly certain that the cross in a box is a logo for other church organizations, so I would be hesitant to use any of these. #18, #19 - I did appreciated your "name" logos, however, and will consider them highly as I gather feedback from others in the congregation. Thank you for the ranking and for the feedback. I have uploaded more designs based on the "name" logo you ranked. I made a some adjustments making it look like the sun rise and morning star shining still bright. I also added some Florida theme to it as well. Please advise me as to which direction you would like for me to develop.
I really like the name logos. They are very creative and incorporate the morning, night, and star all at once. Thank you. One problem, however, is that CHURCH is the biggest and most noticeable word in the design. We don't want people to judge us first by their past experiences with churches. Any ideas about how to make this design without CHURCH being the highlight?
I made some changes using more emphasis on "Morning Star" and less on church. Please take a look and let me know if there any further changes you would like to see.
I really like your recent submissions (#71. #72, #75, #76). I know we are in the judging phase, so it is difficult to submit, but if I temporarily moved you to first place on Saturday, would you be able to submit some changes?
I'd like to focus on simplifying your design. I'd like to see what it would look like with just two graphic elements: a wave design and a star/cross design. By a star/cross design, I mean the star would also look somewhat like a cross - such as the present first place design in my contest. I understand the need for contrasting blues, so this idea may only work for #76, but I would appreciate any attempts you could make in this direction.
I would be happy to make changes according to your request, however, I am not sure how I would be able to upload the design since the contest is in "judge" mode like you said.

I made the changes you requested and also made some additional changes off of that. I think it turned out really well and that you'll like it. I am still not sure how to upload during judge mode. I am new to this site but on other sites, submission is not allowed during judge mode. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
