I was thinking, we really don't run through scenes like this in your logo. What about possibly something that sort of shows running along a path through the woods. I realize the MCRRC logo includes a lot of what you've included in your logo. It's just not necessarily representative of our program like that. We do spend a lot of time along paths (like in your logo).
Or maybe we don't need a deer at all? Or any wildlife for that matter. I'm also thinking the "First Time Marathoners" font does not fit in with the rest of the logo now.
Thanks. This is better. I'd like to tone down the hills, though. They still seem too mountainous than what is typical to this area. Also, I think the animal in your photo looks too much like a moose or elk. The deer we typically see are much smaller. Our location is really just a few minutes outside Washington, DC, in the suburban area. A deer would be one of the larger animals we'd encounter in our runs.
I like it better, but a few comments. First, I'd like to keep the font of our existing FTM logo if possible. Also, I would prefer rolling hills or maybe a forest background as opposed to mountains. We don't really have mountains in the suburban DC area. Most of our activities occur in suburban Maryland where we typically run on paved trails through parks, woods, etc. We will often see some wildlife such as deer, squirrels, raccoons, birds, etc. Hope this helps.
I like the oval shape, but I think it looks too much like the MCRRC logo. I would prefer to build off the FTM logo instead of the MCRRC one. I'd also like to maybe include an image or silhouette of a couple of runners, if possible. Thanks.
