Monroe Street United Methodist ChurchLogo Design Contest

Both entries are good but we would like to see a definite bridge in the design. Colors are great. We are a beacon and a bridge to the community. Prefer #2 with lettering on the side.

We don't really want the words to be part of the logo. Having just the image will give us more flexibility to add our own words and use the design in different ways.

Can you depict a "beacon" that is not necessarily a lighthouse?

For the bridge part, perhaps work in an old-fashioned suspension bridge.

We like the cross inside the beacon part. What if that cross were the United Methodist cross-and-flame design?
