Leave the colors of the letters as they are, but let's play around with the colors of the rose and basketball. See what you can come up with that looks good and might be a better fit. Try a few options. A blue/red rose for example might look good. And the basketball would have to be changed to match.

Look at the first E, E1. Look at the short middle arm of E1. See how it's almost touching the G? Shorten that arm just a little bit so that there is the same distance between E1's short arm and the G as there is between E2's short arm and the N. Then, the whitespace between the E and the G will look identical to the whitespace between the E and the N.
