it's a different font , but , true, very close. that one is Jubilee (commercial)
this one is eccuyer dax / free for any use.
again , very close to each other, slight height and kerning differences.

I believe this is the same font as Thomas Pink's logo, which I really like. Could you add different embellishments, something a bit more masculine? Or doing something else to it to make it starkly different/more interesting than Thomas Pink's?

This is great. You are doing something similar to our old logo. Maybe you can take the font and make it look a bit more 3-D? Here is what our old packaging and logo looks like. www.mondomeds.com
