We would like to reduce height of the area used for the wording so the top of the badge and the bottom of the badge are closer together. Maybe just reduce the font size

Looks good. Let me present to my committee. We've always had "Protect The Protectors". Can you change to "Protecting The Protectors" while keeping relatively within the same width you currently have?

Hi Slab04,
Just a couple of requests. We like the length and width of the badge/shield. On another logo that we didn't care for, we like that the way the wording is more contained within the badge and we like the way the wording is laid out.

If you need a slightly wider badge in order to better fit in the wording, that would be great.

The badge is much better than our original badge. Can you look at a an alternative badge?

I like the direction you are going. I like the state of MN in the two logos. Can you try to turn the red into blue and then the blue would become red? 9 out of 10 death payouts are to police (blue) versus firefighters (1) so maybe it would be great if at least half or more of the logo is blue
