About the star in outer circle, I am sorry but cannot place it there, because a fellow designer here have placed it there, it's his idea. We are forbidden to borrow ideas from each other.
We'd also like to see a variable where the mountain logo is comprised of equally weighted lines rather than gradually thicker lines. The thickness of the circle might be the appropriate uniform thickness.
Sorry, but I think the mountain here in #259 is a cleaner design than the newer mountains in #308-313. However, we like the new star concept. Can we add the star into the circle of #259 at the "2 o'clock" angle and further simplify and clean up the mountain design? Thanks so much for your modifications!
Now I've seen the feedback, thank you for better ranking also!
Of course, let me see what I can do at the drawing board and will come back with updates.
Also the star idea is great, suggesting something to reach for, and to reach it, it's a "Mission". :-)
Back with updates on symbol, and text + symbol layout as in the 5th attachment for each variation (each variation has it's own horizontal layout variation):
Thanks for making the adjustment. Looks good. Can we continue to play with the "M" mountain to further refine? Is there a way to make one peak but still an "M"? Can we sneak in a little simple star at the top of the peak?
Perhaps a few variations of the mountain with a thinner line and more evident hidden "M"? Can you try a few with the mountain in a simple circle frame to the left of the words? Thank you!
The mountain design is very cool. Would you please show us a few variations of font that are more class/elegant but still very simple and clean. Also, please emphasize "MISSION" with less emphasis on "financial group." Than you for your submission!

-#515, #516 - dropped the lower "M" line, now are only three gradual thickness lines.
-#517, #518 - thickness of the symbol is now as the circle thickness, also only three lines "M".
-#519, #520 & #521, #522 - I've tried something here on my own.

Concept for symbol: "M" + "F" letters combined.
What you think about it?
