Zaq, this was our reasoning.

1 - Joomla does not have a trademark, we will get one
2 - Joomla is a German company and we are a US company
3 - Joomla's business is very different
4 - We feel the logo is significantly different in color and style.
5 - It was our best overall submission

The only hangup we have with this logo is the 3D looks repeated. It is in the cube and in the text. :( We like the shape and colors but 3D is in there twice. it almost reads 3D MIRO 3D.

It is close and darn good but that is unfortunately a sticking point for us. You could try to put the O on the cube with 3 and D and move it to the right side Mir[o3D]...

Time is counting down!! Top 2 logo, but I really want to see black and grey swapped!

Also, can we have slightly different shade of orange color on the "3" and slightly different shade of black on the "D" so that since the cube in reality would have to cast a shadow....

I like that the M3D is contained in a cube. Those gray hexagonal lines is very cool. It looks more pro..Could you draw 3 more lines to complete the cube shape and let's see what it looks like (i.e. a vertical line between 3&D; and 2 other lines across to make the shape of the cube 3D..?

I would like to see this type and color scheme combined with a 3D shape on left rather than text.
Also, I would like to see a variant with lines outlining the cube.

i like this. only issue i have now is that the 3D in cube seems redundant with 3D in name. What if M is on left 3 on top, D on right?

I like that better. Not sure I love the type. Very plain. Try some different arrangements of the text on cube. The 3/M look the same on cube. I am curious what it would look like with a more clear M and 3 where they are actually different.

I like this. Maybe heavier lines or different lines. Consider changing the cube. M on top. 3 on left. D on right
