thanks so much for submitting! these are really interesting to us but we'd like to see some more refinement.
specifically, could we see what it would look like with the light blue dots continuing on the top and bottom (over the "m" and below the "m-i-n" and "i-i"? having the dots over the "n" makes it look like the "n" has an umlaut like in Spinal Tap.
I came back with some more entries. They all have a more refined, slick look. I did all the variations on the dots concept. If you'd like to see anything else, please let me know.
thank you for the additions. something like #149 was what we had in mind, but applied to the more basic version #130. that is, if you could put the dots around #130, we'd like to see that. the dots may need to be more subdued in color, but i'm sure you can play around with it and see what looks nice.
very nice. please remove the gradient in the background and make the distance of the dots on the bottom the same distance from the bottoms of the letters as the dots on the top are from the tops of the letters. also, the dot to the left of the J needs to be better considered. two thoughts: either eliminate that dot and extend the "arm" of the J to the left to fill that space; or delete the "arm" of the J and use that dot.
also, the bleaching of the dots looks very nice. we will want a final logo that doesn't have any gradients in it, so as long as each dot is a uniform color it will work for us. thank you! (#154)
I've submitted #155, #156 and #157. I aligned the below dots to match the position of the upper ones. You have this with two different treatments to the J.
As for the colors, don't worry. Once we're finished making changes I'm going to flatten the transparency, so there will be no such filter, only a solid color.
