Would be nice if the mascot would have some "character / personality" and is not too "simple" or just a "ball".On the other hand this would be very easy for us to make it as a soft toy for the children. The letters "mini" and "s" are a bit too "boring" to be honest; the font and to have them all in the same color.
What could be a nice addition to your abstract is perhaps some colors in the background so it doesn't look so plain / static.

P.S.: Thanks to be the first so far who used the bavarian style for the MUC. ;-)
I'll try to give the mascot more character and other modifications you asked. Soft toy for children really brought a smile on my face :) No probs for bacgrounds.
yes, darker background looks great, but it's a bit unrealistic (maybe apart for a website), since the logo will be mostly used with a white background (stationary, business cards, painted on building, etc.)
the 's' looks a bit weird (almost italic). Is that due to the font? And would it be possible to give the letters more of a 3d effect i.e. like entry #7?
We're still not sure about the blue dots in the face. Somehow it reminds me of measles. :-)
