It´s a site to help people start fund-raising campaigns for charitable projects. They go to the site and create a project for eg their birthday, they pick a charitable project, and they send the link to all their friends, spread it on Facebook etc and urge their friends to give money towards the campaign. So anything showing people gathering for a common cause is in the right direction.
