Gradients are fine as long as we have a black and white and one-color version if it is selected for use in printing on promotional products. That's the only time we'd have an issue.
Ok, in that case my suggestion would be to use sold colors so that they can translate easily in to black and white like #24 (black and white version of #12). However if you feel its not dark enough we could always use another file with grey's exclusively for black and white printing purposes for ex #25
Let me know if you have a particular color combo you would like me to try it out
I like #21 of the different shades of the color in the lotus. I think we can have a gradient in the full color logo and have the option of a one-color, grey, or black for promotional products. I've found that's usually the only limitations when it comes to logos is promo printing. I also think sticking with blues, greens, purples, or oranges are the most eye catching to me. The pink does not grab me. I agree that clear edges and the circle make it easy for stickers, but I personally like it without the circle. I'm trying to get feedback from our board, too.
I am really sorry to inform you that i will have to withdraw the entries which has people as petals because another designer claims that it is her concept and has taken me to logo court. I honestly think her concept was heart with people in it. However, if i do not withdraw the entries now, i may loose the case and will not be able to enter this contest. I have informed the admin about this case and will let you know what he thinks of the same.
I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your time Sreekant G
