I was looking at some of the earlier submissions and you had one with a thicker boarder and the bolts were inside of the border. That might look cool here. Also still trying to figure out how to get Custom Signs to pop a bit more. Maybe the Custom Signs letters need a thin border. 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #325 corsa 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #325 Brooklyn 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #325 Berton 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #325 Minimalust is also cool. Just trying to give it a bit more refinement. 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #325 Hey, could I see this in something more contemporary, like Monique? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #324 Cool. Can you give just a littlemore vertical space between Michigan and Custom Signs? and maybe just a tiny bit more between the letters in custom signs? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #297 Hey, on this one, can we make the bolts dark blue and make the Michigan a little smaller and the custom signs a little bigger, but everything else the same? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #302 Hi SKO... what about this one with only the following changes: Michigan the same size, but moved up so that the bottom fo the letters justifies with the top of the box. Then run the box into the bottom of the M and N (not all the way underneath the word Michigan, just so that it connects at the end, then move custom signs so that it is centered in the box. And change the bolts to dark blue. Thank you! 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #300 How about moving Custom Signs up a bit so it is either centered or almost within the frame and move the michigan up so the bottom is just below the top of the box? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #169 Any chance you can update number 169 with the changes noted above? Some of the other changes you submitted go a bit further, and I think 169 is actually pretty close with a few tweaks. 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #169 Hi SKO... appreciate your note, and it is a close call right now. Would you please try this: on #169, let's make the box a bit taller, remove the tagline all together, and give the letters in custom signs a little more spacing between each other. It feels crowded right now. 4 years ago sko commented on #261 gkovtun, is there anything I can do to change your mind? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #256 Thanks on both fronts. One last (I think) thought here... what if the Michigan was just the light blue without the dark background and it sat right on the top edge of the custom signs box? 4 years ago sko commented on #256 I think this is what you ask for. What do you think? Also you should be able to edit the vector art if you would want to change your tagline. You would need a program like Adobe Illustrator for a Mac or Corel Draw for PC. If you pick mine and have any issues editing it I can help you out. 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #232 A couple of questions: First with regard to the design, I'm wondering if we could, without changing anything else, change the negative space behind custom signs to white and change the letters to navy but leave the outside frame of the sign as is (navy with the white bolts). Second, I've never done this before so once a winner is selected, will I be able to make changes directly to the file... for instance I'm not sold on my current tagline and may want to swap that out occasionally. Would I be able to do that myself? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #229 Yes. Looks good. Can we make the background of the hanging sign white? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #230 can we try this using the same blue you used in #169? 4 years ago sko commented on #230 gkovtun, I think this is looking good! 4 years ago sko commented on #229 gkovtun, I think this is what you were looking for with the small sign below the other. 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #224 I like this, but I prefer the Michigan up higher and the custom signs centered in the rectangle like in #177. With those adjustments can we then also see how it looks with the Michigan in the light blue and the custom signs in white? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #210 What about taking the tag line out of all caps and hanging the tag line rectangle from the main rectangle. Like a subtly hanging sign? 4 years ago sko commented on #210 gkovtun What do you think of this one. I did the changes you asked for or are you going on another direction now? What is it that you want to stand out more Michigan or Custom Signs? Is there anything else you would like me to try. Do you like the font I am using? Please let me know Thanks 4 years ago sko commented on #210 I added a little more negative space, made sign in background taller and shrunk the slogan. Let me know what you think. Thank 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #172 No. I was referring to the background within the rectangle. 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #169 what if we made Michigan the lighter blue, the custom signs white, and made the background of the sign (rectangle) the blue currently in the Michigan? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #177 I like how this is coming along. Feels a bit crowded though. seems like it needs a little more negative space. Maybe make the box a bit taller and maybe shrink the tag line a bit relative to Michigan Custom Signs. 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #171 "Custom Signs" seems to disappear on this a bit. Maybe outline them in white, or make them white and the tagline blue? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #173 yes, and I like this. but I'm not of fan of it being curved. 4 years ago sko commented on #172 gkovtun, is this what you meant by dark background? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #169 How do you think this would look with a dark background behind custom signs? You might need to then put an outline around Michigan and the tag line letters so they don't half disappear in the darkness. 4 years ago sko commented on #143 gkovtun Is there anything I can do to get this to the top? Is there anything else you would like to see? Thanks Sean 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #137 what do you thin about adding another color here? I like the state as the i and I like the elements here, but it seems a bit flat or muted. Needs to pop a bit more, but I'm not sure how. Maybe the outline around the blue line should be black or the custom signs should be blue with the tagline in black or grey. 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #74 What if we make the black background (not the border) a grey? Perhaps that would soften it up a bit. 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #93 What if we change the internal black background to a grey to soften it up a bit? Also, in Michigan there are a lot of Michigan type stickers that people put on their car from the various vacation towns (michigan proud sort of thing). I don't want this to get lost in that noise. I'm thinking the Custom Signs portion needs to be not necessarily the same size as Michigan, but larger in proportion to the Michigan than it is here. 4 years ago sko commented on #93 gkovtun, Is there anything you would like me to change or tweak? Your input would be great. Thanks 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #76 How do you think this would look with more of a retro font vs. distressed? 4 years ago gkovtun commented on #9 what if instead of the map of michigan in the background, it was the map of the great lakes in a good shade of blue? and is here a scaling used in the letters? Need those to be solid. 4 years ago sko commented on #9 gkovtun If there is anything you would like me to change or tweak please let me know Thanks 4 years ago
