I had a thought here. what if the Custom Signs was boxed in by that same blue line, the cascade was removed from the lettering so Michigan and Custom Signs all read straight across, and there was a sign post that came straight up from the left and went across the top and then connected down to the top of the blue line at the top of the box on both sides of the michigan/sun icon? Thus making it look like sort of an old time hanging sign. A mixture of old signage hanging contrasted by the contemporary icon design.
This looks great! Not wanting to mess with it much at this point, but am wondering about possibly bolding custom signs so it stands out as much as Michigan. Right now, Michigan hits you more than custom signs and trying to even it out.
I really like how clean and positive this feels with good readability. What do you think about filling the sun with a sunset orange (I'm thinking of the crayon color)? No other changes. I'm not necessarily banking on this color change, but curious to see what it would look like.
This is cool. A couple of thoughts. If you're so inclined I'd like to see it with: 1) "Custom Signs" and "Michigan" the same size font. 2) background color as a rich blue with the arrow a light grey scale and also see it with those two colors inversed. Also, I don't think the tag line is working that small. Let's just pull it out... perhaps we can add at the bottom as they change.
I like the idea here, but thinking this might work a little better with the map of the state vs. the lakes. Also wondering how we can work some blue into this. Other sign forms that might work?
