From #7 to #14 M + E elevator, building concept

Grafismo,
What I am looking for is a Logo for our fund raising program with the Susan G. Komen organization.
The initiative is called "Ride The Pink Elevator." The logo should include Metro Elevator but principally be about Ride The Pink Elevator. I envision a cartoon character (kind of a superhero) riding on top of one of our Susan G. Komen pink construction elevators up the side of a building on the elevator tower. A scene with lots of tall buildings around it, our construction elevator on a building in the middle of other buildings. I imagine this cartoon character (a construction worker) wearing a pink hard had with the Metro Elevator logo on the hard hat, and the Susan G. Komen Ribbon on his chest. The caption beneath it would be "Ride The Pink Elevator for Susan G. Komen."

To all participating designers: Here is an idea to assist you. I am open to all ideas, but this is one:

You are getting closer to what I am looking for. If you can find the pictures I included in my original file, you will have a better understanding of what a construction elevator looks like. They are always built on towers attached to the outside of very tall buildings.
I like the general direction your are moving with the character. What I would like to see now is the character with tall buildings in the background, and him standing on top of one of our construction elevators going up the side of a building on the elevator tower. I would like to see "Ride The Pink Elevator" on the side of a 'Pink Construction Elevator. I would like the Metro Elevator logo on the characters pink hard hat, and I would like the Susan G. Komen ribbon (we have permission to use it) on the center of his shirt. I would like the image to simulate movement upwards, like an elevator going up. You are headed toward what I have in mind.

Hi!
Thank you for your feedback.
I work it out the concept following your requests but trying also to keep it as clean as possible without too much "noise" because there are quite a few elements ... or I hope so ;-)
Regards.

Grafismo,
I like #62 a lot. You are capturing most of the idea I would like to see. I would ask you to make some subtle changes to your design. First, could you move the Metro Elevator logo on the front of the Avatar's Helmet? (By the way, I want to name the Avatar "Elevator Charlie" and we may use him in other designs).
Next, I would like for you to put at the bottom of the page reading from left to right "In Support of Susan G Komen for The Cure"
Beneath the "Ride The Pink Elevator, remove the Susan G Komen logo, and only have the Metro Elevator logo beneath Ride The Pink Elevator. Instead of saying ride "for," change that to read "Ride The Pink Elevator "with" Metro Elevator.........then of course at the bottom of the page "In Support of Susan G Komen" Please also re-center "Ride the Pink Elevator based on these changes.

#67 Moved to right the elevator structure in order to clean up some room around Elevator Charlie and building wall. Also added an arrow to reinforce the ""elevator" concept by itself.

Grafismo,
Thank you for being so collaborative in working on this design. You have responded very well to my input and it is appreciated. I have a couple of minor modifications I would like to make and it will be almost exactly what I hoped for. First, I like the ribbon at the bottom which reads "In Support of Susan G Komen for The Cure."
I would ask that you make the letters more bold or visible. We will be silk screening shirts with this image and we really need "In Support of Susan G. Komen for The Cure" to really stand out and be very easy to read.
Next, I would like to see the design without the white 'up arrow.' I understand you are trying to convey movement, but I would like to compare the logo both with, and without the arrow.
I would like to see the buildings in gray scale in the background of the image reduced down to only 3 grayscale tall buildings. A tall building in the middle, and one smaller tall building on each side of the taller building in the middle, each (of the 2 smaller buildings) the same size as each other. These would still be in grayscale of course.
Please make these changes for my review, and I am very excited to see the final results.

Grafismo,
Wanting to make certain you are still participating with design ideas for Ride the Pink Elevator. I sent you some minor modification requests yesterday and want to make certain you have received them. Please advise and thank you.
