Foss, I like the general direction your are moving with the character. What I would like to see now is the character with tall buildings in the background, and him standing on top of one of our construction elevators going up the side of a building on the elevator tower. I would like to see "Ride The Pink Elevator" on the side of a 'Pink Construction Elevator. I would like the Metro Elevator logo on the characters pink hard hat, and I would like the Susan G. Komen ribbon (we have permission to use it) on the center of his shirt. I would like the image to simulate movement upwards, like an elevator going up. I love the direction you are going.

#58 and #59 incorporate your comments. Since your logo is pretty small on the hat, I added to the side of the elevator. #59 is also a bit more balanced by having the elevator centered over the background buildings. I've cheated the size/placement of the car a bit to allow for better readability.
I think it's coming along nicely and has a nice modern and retro look.

Foss, Entry 59 is excellent and nearly exactly what I am looking for. Here are my recommendations to tighten it up. First, you have done a great job of capturing what a construction elevator looks like, including how you have represented the elevator on the elevator tower. That is great. Rather than showing the tower tied to a steel structure (which is exactly what we would do on new construction by the way, so well done), I would like to see the tower with a gray scale building in the background. I would then like to see only three gray scale buildings total in the background. Next, have our elevator on the center building, and make the center building the tallest building. I am going to refer to our character (or avatar) as "Elevator Charlie." I would like to see Elevator Charlie be a tiny, tiny bit bigger. If possible, I would like to see the gear pattern (to the left of the Metro Elevator logo) placed in the center of Elevator Charlie's hard hat. Finally, at the bottom of the logo, in a single line please write "In Support of Susan G. Komen for The Cure." I will await your thoughts, and thank you.
Wonderful. I'm glad you're liking the direction and thanks again for your input. I think it's coming along well too. I will work today to make those adjustments and post later this evening CST. Everything sounds pretty straight forward. I think the only question I have is would you like to see the center building under construction or should it simply be a gray building like the other two only taller. I'm thinking the latter would likely be better. This would put even more emphasis on the elevator, character and type.
#71 is a bolder variation of the earlier design. The black really helps the pink elevator stand out better. The Metro Elevator is also pulled out for greater emphasis as well. Let me know if you have any other thoughts/suggestions. I'd be happy to give them a try.
