I thought that about the blue - green combo which looked great. Once I saw the black- red combo, I loved it! You did great work! The black- red combo is different not typical and very modern..

black-red is good, however blue represent trust, and green also is common color for financial...

Also your tagline mentioned about Fresh, so green can reflect the fresh word better. so my suggestion is blue-green. not only because it's good color, but also has strong conceptual thinking.

I actually do not believe that I would like black and red...but if it isn't too much trouble...I want to project professionalism, trustworthiness, knowledge...financial services. So, I don't know about the boldness of black and red vs green and blue.

I love this just the way it is...but my son who is artistic said I should see it in black and deep red....I don't think so but if you could show me...maybe it will be nicer than I can imagine.

By the way, you can choose winner early if you already find the one you like :)
