Hi, I just want you to know the reason I prefer to use the maple leaf as the part of the M is because it would automatically included when you want to use the M as a standalone symbol/icon.

And the reason I'm not use the maple leaf as the dot of the letter i is because it would be too small compared to the MERTIN text, especially when you decide to print it in small size like in business card, the detail of the maple leaf will lost, and people would not recognize it.

Hi, here is a standalone symbol for my previous design, it shows a uniqueness and memorable. It can be easily recognized as your brand even without the brand name on it.

We prefer this over the previous logo, thanks!

Possible to see this with the addition of a maple leaf (maybe shrink the "I" and use it there? Some more exciting font would be great too, or some lines for character?
