Thanks for your entries. #31 is probably most interesting; not sure about the font. Would you have any other thoughts for symbols that represent the water?
Hello lynmerchant, thank you for the ranking and feedback, Yes I will post some new ideas for you and try different fonts on #31. Is there something that you lean more toward in terms of font style? I can certainly try a few but I will be guessing without some direction. Something a bit more vintage?
Hi - as far as fonts, it's hard to say. I am just considering having the name embroidered on hats and jackets (printed on t-shirts), and slim modern letters usually look too plain. We are drawn to #37 or #49, but not certain that the railing is the right symbol. It's close, but we aren't sure it truly captures the feeling of being right next to the river. Any other symbols you can show us? Thanks.
Hi - I will try some more ideas. I am certainly familiar with battery park and that feeling there. I live on the upper east side right next to the fdr so I feel like I can find something interesting as we move into the top 5 stage of the contest.
Well, your more recent entries are unfortunately moving away from what we are looking for. Entries #49 & #32 have a simple elegance that we like, but not quite there. Maybe adding a couple of lanterns hanging from the posts of #49? The railing itself somehow is not enough. Thanks.
Sorry about that, ill make the some adjustments to #49. Perhaps an abstract battery park bench might be another image that might work as an alternative.
Hello Lyn, I have put up a few more fonts for you that are a bit more modern. I tried to pick ones that still could hold some style even when stitched and small. Please let be know what you think.
Thanks for your efforts, but don't like any of them. We like the clean, sophisticated look of #113, but interested in options closer to that (and no rounded font). And definitely in blue (Pantone 647).
Hi, Lyn, I am putting together a font list for you. I don't have these fonts but If you see something that you like, perhaps it can be purchased. fonts tend to be usually around 20 to 30 dollars so its not a big expense to own your logo font which you should purchase anyway regardless of the winning logo
OK, i think we've got it. Use the railing of #113 and the font of #90, but don't use italic font for 'American Bistro'. Not crazy about the R of this font - do you have anything very similar?
