Ok... last request (don't kill me). The team wanted to see the blue part of the logo thinner and to have the tear drops removed, and replaced with a straight (not rounded) end.

Also which font do you think would work best?

I'd like to aware this tomorrow and be done. :-) I'd also like your contact info to work with you on other projects if that's cool with you.

I think you do super good work. The other version of the logo you see is something we like a little bit better just because it is really sharp, but on yours I like the way you've curved/wrapped the logo to create depth and we really like the grid watermark to put a play on a globe.

Could you incorporate the other logo version, the grid, no outer circle, and tell me which of the fonts you think works best (unless you have a better more contemporary font).

Also, can we just award you and speak outside of logotournament or should we continue here?

It's actually a gorgeous logo. The delay in replying was unavoidable. Great job. I was just concerned about reproducibility.
