I thought #2 was really clever - using the traditional '!' denoting information, along with the mobile handset that highlights the portability of our content, and the imaginative linking of the two words. Really nice. Colleagues were worried that it was a little 'too functional', and felt that there was a need for more sophistication to appeal to media industry professionals. I hope that helps you?
Suggestions are to forget the 'hand' (it's one too many elements) and see if we can get more emphasis on the 'digital pixels' coming out of the pocketbook?
