Here are some of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
The icon represents a "P" in the negative white space, with an actual pocket in the middle.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,

Quick feedback is that we're not sure about the fonts - #18 feels a bit 80's US Corporate, whereas #19 feels slightly commonplace - not sure if you have any ideas on this?
We probably prefer the icon on #19 at the moment - but that may be because it's not instantly recognizable as a 'P' and the speech bubble effect communicates the education element.
We've tended to prefer icons so far that have communicated something of our content rather than letterforms or abstracts - I hope that helps?
