if you would like to see variations on any of my entries (colors, fonts, form, additions/subtractions, suggestions....) please ask. Happy to do. Feedback and direction welcome. (even knowing dislikes can help forge a direction and save time :-)
Thank you for your help, with so many logos coming through I am starting to get a little confused. I like the grey, orange and black tones, but the extra colour blue and green which I originally chose also makes it stand out. I like where you are going with the slogan and the shape of the logo, I was unsure of the dark thick lines. I like the font on entry #287. Maybe the media hub bit can be grey and orange. I'm so sorry times running out and I'm confused but appreciate and respect everything that the designers are doing. Entries #291, 294 and 295 seem a little more related to satelite dish of tv/radio so I don't want to be confused as a media company more like your slogan 'your door to everything marketing'. Thanks again your help is greatly appreciated.
I like one of the new slogans 'marketing strategies that fit together' and the new variation of logo, can you bring the blue colour into #347 & #351 in the thought cloud? The blue makes it stand out a little more, like #330 but not a square box. Still opened to your suggestions, guidance and creativity. This is a lot harder then I thought.
There may be an issue with using the cloud shape, so i am going to use the speech bubble one in 351 right now to show it with the blue and also maybe use some thought bubbles to the shape. If things get ironed out re: the other i will be happy to do that as well.
Hi , thanks for the new ones, like them, haven't sorted them out yet, so sorry if you see them further down the ranking, I am on my way to a client meeting but will be back in a few hours to correctly arrange. Like the new styles coming through, thank you.
that's okay. this is your quest to get something that works for you. The rankings help tell me if i am getting closer and/or have a chance, but I know they can change periodically. Glad you like the new ones coming through, as well. Really appreciate the feedback and direction and glad to be ranked in this contest (there's a lot of entries you have had to sort through).
Would love to end up with something you will love. (and, of course, win :-) but also know it is a contest to get what you want.
I'm very sorry, after doing some marketing research this morning have realised there is another competitor of similar industry who has the oval thought bubble over their logo and their colours are orange and black. I do like the other variations but if you have anything else that's creative but professional please send through. I'm so very sorry, I thought I had all the companies covered but I missed one - and funnily enough it's exactly where I was heading. It's crap because just when I thought I had my head around it I'm back a few steps again and at such a late time in the contest. Apologies
guess i am a little confused, since the ones you currently have in first and third are basically "thought/conversation" bubbles but just a group of three? The one of mine you had in first this morning, even though a conversation/thought bubble differentiates itself from a single bubble with the fact is the premise that it is pieced together to create "one" unit/direction coming from one company (you), thus linking it to the tagline.Coloring wouldn't be hard to change. I guess i would just like to make that point. I guess it would be clearer for me to understand if that is all it was--a single conversation bubble. Not trying to argue or tell you that you are wrong,(please understand that) just trying to note the difference and the meaning behind it and understand if you are wanting to disassociate yourself with thought/conversation bubbles at all to make sure i don't enter anything related to that at all if that is the case.
Also, I know you have honed in the last day or so, but i haven't withdrawn most of my entries. Did the basic premise of them give you any idea of a way i might head with them, but with a slightly different take or direction?
Hi, #418 can you try in different colours, have to move away from orange and black, just posted a comment and apology (I think it's to all designers, well I hope it went through). I like the long two piece puzzle design, certainly something that's different and can work with. Just need to stay away from colour combinations like, green & grey, blue & grey, red & white, orange & black, still like green, blue and orange but whatever the combination it has to stand out and not be same as competitor, so sorry for the stuff around.
Hi! With regards to #425 can you do one in the blue and green, I think that's the colour we will go with. It's fresh, no one else has it (that I know of, ha ha ha!) I will remove the black and green versions as I'm happy with the blue and green. thanks heaps
With regards to #396 can we have the media hub font blue and green (the colours like #423) and the slogan in full black. Still like the orange and black on the puzzle pieces just trying to get away from orange and black as a dominate colour due to the other local competitor.
Can I see #415 in the blue and green similar to what you did with the font colour in #432. With regards to #417, I like how the m & h are connected together like a puzzle piece, didn't like the darker orange/red colours in the variations that you sent through. Wondering if we can use the same blue and green as most recent for the font for m & h and words media & hub, with the slogan maybe full black print?
I think blue and green stand out nicely but still fresh & professional? Thoughts you are the expert.
let me know if i got the instructions right on these last ones.
re: color being right or wrong---as long as you feel good with it, then it's right. A logo is something you have to feel comfortable with, since you are going to be putting it out there as a representation of yourself. The more you like it the more you'll feel comfortable putting it out there on cards, web, whatever. If you end up just listening to someone else, but it doesn't feel quite right to you, i think you will then be less apt to want to put it out there, which is what it is all about.
Thanks heaps, happy with the changes. Just confirming from here on I just work with you to finalise the logo I choose - considering all of yours are ranked??
that's fine with me. once you are sure we have reached the logo you want looking like you want it, and it goes into judging you can declare a winner. But it is good to get it to where you want it before you declare the winner. is that what you were asking? I know it goes into judging soon, but you can work to get what you want after it goes into that phase before you declare the winning logo. The only rule to working with anyone after it goes into judging mode is that in order to enter something during judging you have to be in first place. And the one declared the winner should basically be in it's final form.(not sure, does that answer your question?) C
there may be an issue with me using the idea of a puzzle piece, since someone else used it earlier in the contest even though it is one that you didn't like. So i may either have to find a different way to form a fit or just pull my stuff. Will let you know in awhile what the situation is. C
what a day. just got a message from the person that brought the issue up, when i let them know they weren't the first person to use it and they apologized for hassling me and said good luck. And told me to not bother contacting the other person. But, i already had sent the message and rather than take a chance on it being an issue, i guess it makes sense to hear back. Since their design had long since been refused, hopefully it won't matter. (when there is hundreds of entries it is easy to miss when someone has used a concept before--especially when in our portion of the site they are covered up with a screen and the thanks but type). Most of the time, once they are in that position of already being refused and not in a position to enter anything new via ranking, people don't push it, but... And usually when it is this late in the contest people don't either. But once contacted, I guess i have to deal with it. Don't mean to make this more of a struggle for you, especially after you have shown such confidence in me. Will contact you as soon as i am contacted back. So Sorry. C
I sent a private message regarding the fact that everything is resolved, but will put one here also. You can ignore all the previous. Didn't know whether or not to go ahead and withdraw the alternate stuff i started producing, but guess i will leave them for you to decide if there are any you like in them.
This is what i put in the private message All the issues regarding using "puzzle pieces" are resolved and there is no problem. All the entries are viable. (So you probably don't even need to read those other comments, because they just describe what MIGHT have been an issue that DOESN'T EXIST after all. :-) c
I would have just gone ahead and removed those comments that now have no bearing (so you wouldn't have a bunch to weed through), but once something is posted in the comment area it's there for good. :-)
Thanks very much, glad there wasn't any dramas, I don't even remember puzzle pieces earlier, I've seen so many and I spose as time goes on you evolve. Also, considering that earlier I had a problem with another competitor in this market with almost the same logo I was heading towards. Thank you so much for your guidance, I will review and rank again and judging by the time your last msg was sent hopefully you are having a sleep by now! catch up later thanks again for your commitment.
just checking in. do you have some adjustments currently you would like me to try/work on for any of them? (And thanks for your patience last night.) C
Have uploaded the final files for approval and have sent instructions for the process via private message. Approval will transfer rights, etc. Once approved, don't forget to send your regular email address by private message, so i can send the png files directly to you.
