I very much like both designs in terms of warmth and conveying Mediterranean spirit. The concern I have is the use of chef's hat may give the impression of a catering business however I will only serve cold foods ( salads, sandwiches, wine, olives etc) and have no license for cooking. Thus the menu route ( entry no2) is better but the use of white somehow seems to have downgraded/gave cheaper feeling to it
