I like it, but it needs work !!
I like the simplicity of it.
I like the badge aspect to it.
I also think what you've done with the shaped text at the top. Could you get this text to fit the same width as the badge shape ?
I also like the metaclic chrome effect that you have applied throughout.
The green could be brighter and have some slight graduation to it. Maybe add a reflective highlight across the badging, simillar to the Apple logo.

All up, its got good potential.

I have taken it upon myself to mock up some changes in Photoshop, which I'm wondering if you could undertake.

My preference also is to see it on white initially, rather than the black background.
