Meat MarketLogo Design Contest

I like the simplicity, but the beef steak kind of throws me off. Is it steak? I want to the consumer to not have to guess what that image is.

I like the font, take a look at jacklinks for the image attribute .. simple is key, but we want to set the impression of a brand

I like the initial concepts here. Any way we can take out the steak image all together and put in something with a little more sexuality? Also, can we see some brighter colors?
