Thank you

This is so far our favourite, a great design but there is no lamb.

This is very useable to make a theme throughout the shop and great shirts and aprons.

No one has thought of the "Meat" as Meet.

Maybe a cow/bull animals shaking the butchers hand or meeting the butcher.

Will the lamb fit?? and not be too cluttered

Maybe change the Rooster??

I will work on this.... just had a terribly busy day at the Promotion Farm yesterday.

I thought my entries showed the animals meeting... I don't do people very well thus avoid trying to depict a butcher.

We really like your designs, The rooster is much better, can you do that one in the black as well. Maybe try putting one animal maybe the rooster in Red.

Client
#42 in Black and maybe black with a red rooster

not sure exactly what you mean by "in black" you mean silhouette style... will try that.

FYI if this logo wins we can give you files of each of the animals separately so you can do a set of shirts... in fact I wish I was closer to you and I could do the shirts for you myself... our main business is promotion items... but I am in California and the shipping would be outrageous.

How do we go printing this as logos on shirts etc.

Will it be too busy??

We have decided on black shirts. How does this work.

Can you give some sort of example

Can you make the Meat at Shanes

I can show you the reverse and switch at to @ but only the #1 ranked designer can post changes so you would need to put my entry in at #1 then notify me to make the change for you.

also it would be good for all designers if you keep the top 10 as they get points for the effort.

As noted before only the 1st position designer can contribute new designs at this time.

Any bright color works on black ... but for your industry ... white, red, yellow makes sense.

O.K

Thank you for your input. Still finding different things in the comp.

Can we work with this now?

We really want to keep it very simple but make it stand out.

We are definately decided on black shirts, so the design would have to work on a black shirt.

Logo Designer
you can do this on black in several ways and add any highlight color

AND you can do a series of shirts featuring specific animals with their own color... I did one example of the cow and pig... but you can feature any animal separately. This could be a fun promotion for your customers.... for every X amount of meat they buy or X number of meetings at Meat at Shanes they get a different t-shirt featuring a different animal... go for the whole series.... OR you can do a series of trading cards for each animal with the image on one side and a list of facts about that type meat on the other... you can add other animals as time goes by - a lamb, a goat, a buffalo... whatever you want to feature.... The Trading cards could feature recipes or cooking tips you can offer a special box to keep them in and could even be made into games for the kids...

The cow can be with or without the spots. The animals can be in total silhouette or with eyes and noses. There can be 1, 2 or 3 colors in the design. The name can be in all white or in color. This is a very flexible design ...

just some thoughts from my promotion side... Business Builders in California is a full service promotion agency, beyond design.

You really have gone beyond! You have been the only person to work with us on different ideas, and have us excited about what we might be able to achieve.

You have some great promotional ideas!!!

We want to work with you on the logo side some more... please.

Can you come up with something with an @ instead of "at"? Keeping the theme of design.

There is nothing like this in the Industry that we know of, and we want to be different.

Are you able to offer us assistance with the promotional side? And how does this happen?

I don't like to ask it.. but I am not sure how it works. If you win, does that give us your Logo, or do we pay extra for the Logo and for further work from you? Do we then work with someone here in Australia. Does it make it that much harder you being in California?

Can we work with you on the promotional side?.. At what cost?.. or are your happy to work with us on ideas?

Look forword to hearing from you.

And Thank you

OK so here is the deal ... you get my logo and after it is approved, I will send you a package with all alternatives and different formats you can use... including the animals separately and together in black and white and color... many designers here do that... it is part of our work for you through LogoTournament.

Any other graphic work from Business Builders different from the logo package we will charge for our art time at $60/hour - but that is not just for variations on your design - it would be to come up with a different animal or something like that...

I am happy to work with you on the promotional side, do you have a local promotional products distributor you work with in Australia (which city area?) ? I can maybe help you find one through our association if not. I am happy to work up art and ideas for promotions with you... if you have local print sources probably makes sense to use those, if not we will look into shipping to you from various factories for products. This depends on the volume and range of what we do. For example to develop custom plush toys, we would need at least 3000 quantity each... may or may not make sense... but we can explore options. Trading cards... we can do the art at our regular rate and you can find a local printer to implement the project (shipping from CA may be too high).

Ok, it is making sense now, starting to come togeather.

Can you do the the @ on the rear view of a pig (pig being in the middle)??

Logo Designer
if you mean similar to how the other designer did that - it is not allowed to copy another designer's idea... but I can ask them if they want to collaborate on that part to offer it as a separate logo after the contest... I can do it on either of the two pig designs I already entered.

The only problem we are dealing with and please put forward your comment.

The pig looks happy but he is going to the butcher shop :(

Do you think this is a bit odd?? I have concerns about what people might think??

This is why we prefer silhoettes... so no one can form an opinion on what the animals are feeling.

thoughts on happy animals and meat... this opens a whole philosophy... IF animals are grown as food, treated humanely and slaughtered properly there is no reason animals should not be "happy" ... also people really know the connection between the animals and meat but they separate the images ... (unless you are the butcher)...

I don't think this needs to command your image. But if it does, you can use it as an opportunity to inform your community about how the animals are treated.... as opposed to some places where there is terrible conditions for animals grown as food.

Just some thoughts and hopes for the direction of your business.

I contacted dasx and if you want elements from his logo and from mine... he is open to collaboration. But you need to be very specific about what you want to have ....

Carol

Client
Does open to collaboration mean that you will come up with someting together now, incorporating both designs??

We just can't pick between you two, we love them both.

We have gone to friend votes and it has come up with the same result, both of you equal votes.

We were thinking your animals and writing and his pig @ sign.

I can do that and give him part of the prize... I will let him know.

If we choose one winner can we then buy the other logo as well and play with them to suit our printing?

collaborated entry.

Yes you can pick my entry to win and then negotiate to buy the other logo directly from him.

OR if it is just that you want the collaborated entry I will pay him 1/3 of the prize amount.

We like #135, some people are saying it is too cute for a butcher shop.

Why not be cute bright and happy, no one elses shop comes accross like that. We want the shop to be bright and happy.

Every one seems to have the raging bull.

We need to twig the cow a bit, we love it but it is a milking/jersey cow and we don't eat them.

Can you come up with more of a bull??

OK I will try a different 'bull' tonight.

On the downloaded files, can we have the animals seperate as well??

Like the pink pig by itself.

Thank you

Logotournament only allows for the two required files and formats... I will email the other files to you after they have been approved. each animal separately and the text separately as well in eps and pdf and jpg formats and any other you may need.

thanks again
