Good morning.
Per your request, here's a horizontal version, with an icon that is easily usable as an avatar in social media. I've softened the gray behind the plate and silverware, and brought in a bolder green for the check mark and wording.
Could we see a horizontal format as well? One idea here was to take the word banner (or just words) out and place it on the right horizontally, and use just the plate, leaf and check large in the center of the plate, and fork/knife resting on the sides of the plate as an emblem on the left side. This would be used as an icon since our application will be mobile, and logo will be very small at times (collapsed into a menu bar), so we'll need to use different formats.
We'd also love to see what it would look like if the bold black stamp around the edge was a softer gray, to see if it makes it a bit less "busy".
I like this one as well. Add in a checkmark to indicate that the meal is "possible". A fork and knife would also be great, to show that it is a plate rather than just a circle. The style is spot-on.
Doing a google search on "logo design traditional rustic" pulls up a good overall view of the style we are looking for - this is why we like the direction of your styling. The slogan does not need to be included in the logo.
Hi PeggyB, we really like this style (rustic, more traditional). We are hoping to see a pictorial mark that captures the brand a bit more. Maybe something along the lines of making a positive choice... a plate with a checkmark or something similar.
