Very nice Bob, thank you for entering. I have ranked the ones I like best. I am not too excited about any of the fonts used, but we are off to a great start!

Thanks Bob, no I am not sure about that font either (sorry) but the good news is your fonts in #6 and #7 have really grown on me, I think I was too 'close' to the original design (since I created it) when we started the contest. You are still the man to beat here so far, I really like what you have done with the emblem and always liked the way you wrapped the automotive in #7 from the start. I am meeting with the client tomorrow and will have more feedback. See also my main comment I will leave for all designers on the contest in a few minutes after this round of rankings concerning fonts and a bonus. Thanks!

Hello my friend thank you for your continued efforts, I am very impressed. Met with my client yesterday and he was in agreement with me that your emblem was by far the best. Hitman has stepped up his game today though with a nice one so it is getting more competitive. Your trying some different fonts for us has been appreciated. We don't care much for the #20 but the #21 is very sweet. I was out at his shop yesterday and he gots a lot of street traffic so I think we might want to keep the automotive part fairly large on the sign so not sure if the #7 is going to work but everybody loves it. I like the reflector texture you have added on yours even though I did not like it on some others people have done. I will check with the client and see what he thinks. I am wondering how it will look on small logos printed on business cards. Continue with your great work and thanks, you are still #1 in the new rankings.

P.S. Forgot to say I really like the #19 for some reason, it looks tough.

^^See my last 2 comments above and also forgot to say between the two emblem styles (the metal details part) I am having a hard time deciding between the #21 and #7 style and am waiting for more feedback from client & others.

Very awesome, thank you very much for working so hard. At this rate we will have a finished logo and quick and easy finish here at the end. Everyone loves the new 'automotive' font you have used, for the main logo to be used on the sign we want to see it bigger to emphasize their services to someone driving by but perhaps when the contest is done we can work out a package with a couple variations as the more stylistic one with smaller 'automotive' would look good on t-shirts and mugs etc. We don't really like the new 'mcreynolds' font used in #27 as much as we do the one in #7 but the red to black gradient is cool. What if it faded from black to red like the taillight was lighting it up from the bottom?

We still can't decide on which emblem we like the more detailed or smoother one but people are leaning towards the more detailed one like used in #7. Everybody loves the new reflector texture on the red part so if we could see the 2 types of emblem both with that texture, the new automotive font underneath bigger and the old #7 style (or something else) mcreynolds up top I think we might be there. Thanks again, you sir are a true pro.

Wow you are working hard on this and you are already so far ahead! Thanks for the entries, we definitely want to stay with the #35 'automotive font' we love that. Just make it a little larger.

On the gradient, I wanted to flip it black to red if we moved 'mcreynolds' above the emblem but your designer's eye was right I think, the words do look better together underneath and you had the gradient right also from red to black. :) Sorry.

The client (and now his wife also) likes the more detailed emblem of #35 while my wife and I like the simpler #32 haha. We are trying to get more feedback from others. We love the 'bling' on the M in the emblem.

I think the client will agree with me that the fonts in #32 and #35 are working well together. I think you have them in the right place also, it keeps the eye from wandering around. If you could flip the gradient back from red to black again with these fonts and make the 'automotive' a little larger I think we would have a winner. If we could see that in both emblem styles with the 'bling' on the M, I will track down the client tomorrow and see what he thinks. Great work, thanks! You are the man!

Perfect, I think he will be very pleased with these thanks! Hitman came in with an improved emblem today but I am confident you have this contest won with these last two entries based on my client's feedback.

I have to ask though, if you don't mind just for my own curiosity- what would the #7 look like if the 'automotive' part was bigger (to satisfy my client's requirement for his sign) but still wrapped circular like that? I ask because that and #19 were still my personal favorites but he dropped them due to the text size. Thanks again for all the great work!

Hi,
I tried to do like you suggested, but it is very difficult to make the font bigger and more readable, with keeping the structure balanced.
I did the best i could.
I'll keep trying and if I get to fit it better i'll post it.
Thanks for your patience
and if you have any other suggestion please let me know.
Best regards,
Bob.
