Here is another version of the badge logo. Here you will see 3 triangles grouped together that represent the building blocks and how close knit your company is. I did away with the roof because it seemed a bit too much all in one logo. The font closely resembles the older one, but, more updated with the times. And of course the obvious shovel with sand at the bottom.
Give feedback when you can please. And as always, thanks for your time and consideration,
Dave Benner
PS - If you decide that you want more colors please feel free to tell me so, and if you want to see a more 3 dimensional or glass look to your logo I am willing and able to do either one of these as well.
Here I have included a 3 dimensional digital rendering of the type of loaders that you use on a regular basis. I will go out and get an actual photo of your type loaders for the final logo if you so desire, but, I will also continue to work on this digital rendering. I just wanted you to see what it would look like to add the loader in this style logo.
Tell me what you think of the 3D concept that I used in many aspects of this design. And also tell me if you like the highlights that I used in some aspects of this design as well. I went simpler so that people would be able to read it on your trucks movin' down the road. Please notice the text that reads 'Diggin' Mid Michigan Since 1943' and let me know if you like the idea of that text bringing you right back to the company name or if you prefer a flatter look to your logo.
Thanks again for your time and consideration and hope to hear from you soon,
Please see that I have the capability to design whatever it is that you will need for your company. Here I have changed the sand and gravel pile to look more realistic, please notice how the 2 piles together form an 'M', which stands for McGuirks.
The font is easy enough to thicken or change alltogether to accomodate the loader bucket, and can even be more incorporated into the letter 'M' or the 'k' in McGuirk. Can develope the loader bucket further to accomodate a quality 3D look or keep it as a flat look to it.
Here are 3 newer versions for you to look at here. I chose to do an absract bucket for the upper right part of an 'M' and a dozer blade for the left side of the 'M'. Let me know if this works for your application.
I tried to keep in mind what this would look like on your trucks going down the road and the excavating equipment as well as on your building. The last submission is more for a website.
I am looking forward to hearing from you and hopefully be able to work with you to knock this logo out of the park for you.
