I still like yours the best. Its clean and simple. The only detail on the artwork I can see adjusting are the fishing rods. They could be thicker and/or straighter to appear more 'cross-bones' like. The skull, cap, and anchor are pretty good as is.

The name and two fish are also mostly good, too. The fish could be a vertically oriented (one up and one down) as an intertwined Pisces sign that are separated on either side of the home port name like they are now. That may or may not work.
