Hello,
Revisions per your request: different font (century gothic) for "monkey", and chubbier monkey. Let me know if you'd like any other changes. Happy to make them! Pam

Hi Melissa,
Per your request here is my concept with revisions. Redrew the monkey to look like the provided image. I changed the font on the word "monkey" ; it's chunkier and lowercase now. Kept "marshmallow" the same font. Changed the colors of the wording to 2 tones of the same color (if this is not what you meant, please let me know.) Let me know also, if you want any further revisions. I'd be happy to make them. Thanks!

This is a variation on #69. I changed the font on "monkey", a different chunky font. I changed the pose somewhat on the monkey and darkened his body, etc. Let me know if you'd like any changes!

Revised the monkey a bit more, especially its expression, and the coloring. Still gender neutral.

A slight revision of entry #74 - I reversed the tones on the words, ie. "marshmallow" is the darker tone and "monkey" is the medium tone. This makes marshmallow a even more legible.

Added a bow and changed the colors of the wording and the stars on the ball to be soft pink/rose for a girl version.

Added hat and blue lettering for the boy version. Stars on ball are also blue. Let me know if you'd like anything changed on these, OR, if you'd like my other pose with both arms up (original to me) rendered with the same additions and color versions.

Hi Pam...the logos are looking great. I like the pose with both hands up.
With regards to the font of 'monkey' I prefer that used on #70. As #70 is like the master file I am thinking it could have the word 'marshmallow' in pink & the word 'monkey' in green so it has a little of both boy & girl influence. I like the 2 tone with the 'monkey' being the deeper colour.
The colours of the monkey on #70 are also the ones I prefer (slightly lighter than in some of the other versions). Whilst I do like the dotted rounded edge rectangle around the logo I am thinking it may be restrictive to have it there permanently so please adjust them all to be as per #70 without a border.
#77 - The hat & ball look great - would like the arms up pose please. Just change the font of 'monkey' to that used in #70. It's difficult to ensure the blue colours used in the font are as we want. From how it appears on my screen the colour needs to be a little more turquoise/aqua but it could just be my screen - how do I make sure the colours are as we want them?

#76 - can we change the ball to something else - perhaps a little pink doll being held in her lap. Like the bow - please keep that. font of 'monkey' to change as per above.

Baby variation - using #70 with the 2 tone green wording, can we make one that we use for our baby monkey range that has the monkey with a diaper on & perhaps holding a little rattle

Lastly, I noticed our brief indicates the file is to be .EPS only. Is it possible to get a .JPG file too as I don't think I can use EPS files in general word documents etc that we generate in house? If you have any suggestions in this regard, please let me know.

Many thanks...Melissa

Hi Melissa,
Here is the revision of #70 per your direction for creating the master file of your logo. Please let me know if there is anything you want adjusted. I'd be happy to do it. Thanks for the positive feedback and the ranking!

Hi Melissa,
Here's the version for the boy collection. I adjusted the blue to be more turquoise/aqua. Let me know if I need to adjust further. I made the darker tone be the color for "monkey", per your request.
I'm currently working on making the revisions to the girl version of the logo, and the infant version. It's almost 2:30 a.m. here, so I'm heading to bed for now. I'll finish these 2 up later in the morning, and upload them for your review.
One question. Do you want the both of the girl's arms up, or one down around the doll? Thanks!

Oops! Sorry, I forgot to address your last question. Yes, you'll be getting hi-res jpegs as part of the final files, in addition to the EPS files. These are required by LogoTournament. If you need additional file formats, like a PNG (with transparent background for placement on your colored background), those can easily be supplied via email, once the final EPS and Jpeg files are approved. Hope this answers your question. Thanks!

Thanks for all your work Pam. With regards to the girl monkey & the doll, yes, please have at least on of her hands around the doll in her lap if that can be done. Thanks for the info re the file formats - much appreciated.

Hi Melissa,
Here is the girl version of the logo. I kept the doll very simple and generic. Please let me know if you want more detail or colors on the doll.
Thanks!

And, here's the infant version, with a simple diaper and rattle added, and the 2 tone green wording. As with previous submissions, just let me know if you want anything changed!
Thanks!

Thanks for the fine tuning Pam...all looks great. I know I'm now being picky but given that the generic version (#85) has the monkey with the ball, perhaps the boy version 86) should have him holding a little toy train or something boyish other than the ball.

When it comes to the files, would it be possible to get ones with the monkeys separate as well as how they are in the logos so we can use just the image on its own if we need/want?

Now I'm really pushing things but just wondered if we can do 2 versions which relate to our website...namely www.marshmallowmonkey.com.au & www.marshmallowmonkey.com - perhaps with the monkey on the left as with the others or maybe just the monkey face with the text in a single line or if you think it better just use #85 & add .com & .com.au in a century gothic like font at the bottom right hand side of 'monkey'. I don't want this to take you too long but just trying to think of everything before it finishes.

Many thanks...Melissa

Hi Melissa,
I agree, the boy should hold something other than the ball. I'll work up a concept with the toy train, as you suggested.

Yes, I can easily provide the files of the monkeys separate, and as part of the logo, so you can use them wherever you want.

And yes, I can add the .com and .com.au. I'll start with just placing them beneath "monkey', like you suggested. If you don't like the way these look, then we can play around with your other ideas.

I'll probably be able to finish the train before the contest closes, and upload that file for your review. If not, while I'm in first place, I can still upload designs during the judging stage.

Until then, thanks!

Hi Pam...#94 looks fantastic - thanks.
Having never used logo tournament before I was getting a little worried that if the contest ended & the logos weren't showing that they wouldn't be permitted so I extended it. Obviously from your comments above there is still time for things like that so I needn't've stressed. Should I now end the contest early if you know that the .com.au & .com aspects can be sorted afterwards??
Apologies for my lack of knowledge & experience with logo tournament.

cheers

Hi Melissa,

Glad you like #94. : )

As far as ending the contest early, that is entirely up to you. It is certainly your prerogative if you are confident in your choice and don't want to see any more designs. As a courtesy to the other designers, maybe post a comment in the general comment area so everyone knows your intentions. That way they can choose whether or not they still want to try submitting something quickly.

Thanks!

Pam

PS. I'll post the .com and .com.au versions shortly!
