Regarding #299, #300, #306, #307, #308: I like this direction because the shell looks a little trippy. I would like to encourage you to move the logo even more in this direction.
The typeface/font is definitely still a problem. It needs to suggest a legitimate dot.com. Right now it looks too amateurish to me.
Finally, I would like the shell to look more like a conch shell and less like a snail shell.
