MaltitudeLogo Design Contest

I like the clean look of this design. The encircled barley husk could be a standalone companion to our logo. I'd like to emphasize that, or maybe a hop and make it unique. Something that people can immediately associate with the Maltitude brand.

I really like 35. Do you think there is anyway you could turn that hop into a fist? Either a fist reaching up full of hops, or an actual hop fist? Weird request I know

I'm not sure a fist made from or full of hops will work.

With that hop that you encircled on 35, I for some reason envisioned this particular symbol. Come to find out, there's a brewery in Chicago doing something similar already. for some reason that imagery popped into my head, and I thought it might look unique. I don't want it to be too black panther and offend people though.

That would be my worry, that the fist imagery is too aggressive.
A fist in the air is often associated with rebellion/revolution.
As that is called the "Revolution Brewing" the use of the fist works well with the overall branding.

I like the way it turned out. I was hoping you could make the fist comprised of hop leaves. Similar to the guy's face on this AntiHero IPA

Sorry, I did start to do some rough sketches.
But I thought you were going with design currently ranked 1st so didn't take it any further.

It would have to be a very detailed illustration to make it work.
For a fist there would have to be a lot more detail.
The idea you linked works because it is has the patch over what would be the eye area,
there is no facial detail in the drawing as such (the head has been replaced by a hop).


BTW only the designer ranked in first place can upload design during the judging phase of the contest.
