I was going for the movie refrences with Merilin Monroe dress fly, film roll and star dust, with '20s vibe,...but it is probably too elaborate.

I've created one on entry #165, more line with the old style projector design.

probably the letters outline,...you might be right.

I got all your feedback,...thank you for being so constructive. I've offered few ideas more out of the box before, but here's one more in line with the brief, including lantern projector. I still kept it clean, dynamic and eye-catching.

probably a bit to sexy for what we are going for, but I'm not against the idea of a bit of whimsy if there is a way to tie that in.

like the bit of grey, but wrong style lantern--we are referncing an old style magic lantern movie projector.

Not sure I mind the aging effect, but somethign about this look makes me think of a sports team vs film.

...most simplistic design of all, but with strong eye-catching quality. Thoughts? Thnx

...very simple wordmark form design with word LANTERN projected on movie screen,...some wornout effect added for aging, more established vibe.

Here's one high quality design, a bit out of the box, but still quite magical, with glowing fairy character. I'll work on some other ideas more in line with litteral lantern/projector depictions. Thnx
