I like where you are going with these. Its funny that you did a purple/blue and green version, I thought it would look good and was thinking of adding them to my color list. Id like to see the "T" in Madhaunter look more like an old cross, kinda Blair Witch Project. Im not sure if you seen it or if that helps. I can look for a photo to post on here if that will help. Impressed none the less.
Will do! Thanks for the feedback. I'm on my phone right now, but I'll make the changes tomorrow morning when I'm back in my office. :) thanks again Josh
Good morning! Here's some revised text - I based it around the blair witch cross...sort of aspects of it apart to make the the As & the T. Let me know if that's kinda what you were thinking.
The first A is a little hard to read. Also is it possible to do the new one in the purple and green? I like the orange around the lettering. I'd like to see it in green. I think I am leaning towards that Color set.
Sure thing! Just to clarify, do you want to keep part of it orange? Or are you saying that - while you do like the orange - you'd like to see it all in green & purple?
Awesome! I think if you thin the lettering out a little, on the MADHAUNTER, it may be easier to read. I was starting to think you scared off all the other designers lol. We are were very close I think. It needs to be creepy but readable. Also, I am very torn between the green and purple and the orange...
So I think if we take the lettering from #19 and fill it a little, keep the green backround on the letters, then add to the character from #4. Thats my favorite color scheme.
I filled the lettering out a little more and pulled the color from #4. Hatter #4 does have a dark blue-black background instead of the solid black fill, so it looks slightly different. #4 Also has a smaller body / head. If you'd prefer to go back to that, just let me know :)
I am on the fence. I like the color scheme that we have been working on. Black and orange will show up on a shirt better. I am getting on the road for a cpl hours. I will study them more when I get home and see if I can give you some better feedback.
#29 - Obviously it'd have to be printed with spot colors to get bright colors (which you'd use for shirts anyway), but I thought I'd try an electric Frankestein type of vibe could be cool. I've designed a lot (and consequently, wear a lot of) horror / zombie shirts, so I thought it might be interesting to see a fresh palette like this one.
My daughter loved the electric zombie. One of the main feedbacks I've been getting is that the Madhaunter is not very easy to read. I think that is my fault. I didn't give enough emphasis on that in my feedback. If the logo was on the front of a shirt or a business card or even a flyer, people need to be able to know what it says. The blocks are perfect! As much as I like the purple/green color way, orange n black are my colors. Sorry for going back and forth on you. The orange n black is more "Halloween" and everything I own almost is lol. The truck the trailers, hell, even my shoes are.
ahh - yeah, I can see that. How about this? I took out the backdrop / extra stuff to really focus in on the character / name only. You're right, orange & black makes sense for the color palette.
I'm a big halloween fan - used to help out with a haunted site in high school / college. I have two little boys, so we're not to the creepy, awesome part of Halloween yet (although we do usually go check out the displays at the Hween stores...they love the motorized zombie babies - haha) I made them custom Ghostbusters costumes this past halloween...my oldest (7) is saying he wants to be something scary this year, though.
