I really dont know what I would do to change it..... Maybe try another font... The font on #18 is heading in the right direction, but maybe a little different....

I'm still really loving your design, but do you think we could try a more elegant font? Also, maybe change the hat color to black and try a different (purple) style ribbon?

I just wanted to tell you that I really love the font used in entry #77 & #78. Do you think you could try a revision using the same font?

Hi, Thanks for the feedback and the new ranking. I'll revise the hat per your suggestion. I'll also try a more elegant font. I don't want to copy the entries you cited, but I will find an equally elegant, similar font for you. Pam

I really like the hat better in black! I did speak to a moderator and she said that no one designer can claim a font as their own unless it is hand drawn. So if that's the font I want, she said it is fair game ;) I'm glad you showed me all of those different placements, but again the placement I like the best is #77 and #88. Also, I'm finding that I really like a "realistic" colored base. What are your thoughts?

Yes, I agree - the black hat is much better.

Ok. I'll use that font you really like.

But i can't in all fairness copy the placement of it. That would be copying the other designer's layout. I'll move my cupcake to the right, and see what i can come up with different enough from his/hers.

Not sure what you mean by "realistic" colored base. My base is supposed to be a colored paper cup - do you want it with more real -looking pleats/folds, or are you meaning you want it batter- colored, some kind of brown/tan? Please advise.

Just a reminder, you can ask for revisions during the judging period. The judging period is where you can fine-tune the designs you are interested in. Only the first-ranked designer can submit revisions. However, you can re-rank to get revisions from other designers.
