REALLY like the simplistic Logos that you are coming up with! Here are my thoughts:
#14 - Love the logo, don't think anything needs to change there and love the side placement with words to the right. Could you use a different text and make the word GENERATION the biggest word, but still highlight the words "this" and "next".

#15 - Could you shrink the logo and place it on the left side like #14? I love the people that make a circle and the colors, but the inside of the logo needs to be different - too much going on in there. Perhaps just a cross in the middle, but could you make the cross more abstract? Kind of like two paint swooshes. Or perhaps even a different "font" for the cross (if i can say that). It's a little too "Arial" looking. (a.k.a. plain and straight)

#16 - Again. really liking the side placement with words to the right. again, the word generation bigger with "this" and "next" still highlighted somehow. Perhaps GENERATION in Blue with "this" and "next" in yellow.

With the above changes, I think one of these could easily be my favorite overall design.

Oh, one last thing. Could you play around with different color schemes. I REALLY like the blue and yellow, but would be interested to see it in some different color schemes as well!

Thanks!

wow. really like some of these new ones. #19, #22, and #27 are my favorites. Here's what I'm thinking:
#19 - is it possible to make the orange/blue ball logo more 3D (kind of like #27) instead of the flat, matte finish? Other than that i really like this one.
#22 - really like this one, too, but wonder what it would look like in the blue and orange instead of yellow.
#27 - not sure what's going on in the ball logo. I definitely see the cross, which i like, but the way the other swoosh is coming it it makes it kind of look like a letter "G". really like the font, though, and the 3D gradient shading look of the ball logo

Just made the last round of changes.

As for #27, you are correct. It is a G (as in Generation) and a cross. The interesting way the two come together is why I have chosen to made it.

If you like to see something else, please let me know.

Kind regards,
Mint

wow. really liking the newer submissions. Wondering if you could develop a few of them further:
#25 - really like the tree concept with the cross for trunk and branches. Perhaps take out the person to simplify it. Also, try some different fonts. But, the main thing would be at the end of the word "next" put in some kind of acorn or nut that would signify the "next" generation. As if it fell off the tree and is about to be planted and grow. I REALLY like where that could go.

#18 - perhaps in some different color schemes. Also, what would it look like with more "swooshy" looking people like some of the others? and therefore a more "swooshy" cross to match.

#27 - play with the G/cross symbol in the circle. Try it with making the G a little more noticeable while keeping the cross. This could be accomplished, I think, by putting a little more space between the top of the cross and the bottom of the G swoosh. Also, try it with just a cross; and try it with a cross and a swooshy person.

Updates :

#36 #37 #38 #39 #40

Note : I have tried to make #27 with swooshy people and a cross, but it just doesn't look good so instead I reworked the G and refined the whole feel as you can see in #37.

I trust your judgment on the #27 not looking good with swooshy people and cross. I like the reworked "G" though.

A few last things possibly -
#36 - REALLY like how you did the acorn an underlined "next". Would like to see it in some different fonts, perhaps the same font as #27. Also possibly some different shades of green and yellow.

Hello Mr. Mint!

Our team really likes design #39 and we are pretty confident it is going to win the contest. We were wondering, though, could we see it in a few different variations including the following:
1. Different colors: the only thing we DON't want to see is red/black, we DO want to see Blue and yellow, but other than that, could we have about 5-10 different color selections as well? Also, of those variations, could we see inversions where you switch things around (i.e. blue/orange to orange/blue)
2. Different fonts: we like the font, but would like to see about 5 different versions, including the same font as #27 and four others. also, on a few versions could you make "for" and "and the" a bit smaller font just to highlight "this" and "next" a bit more?

Thanks so much. Once we have these final submissions to go over, we are going to pick which one we like the best and the contest will be officially over!

Thanks!

One last thing. Could we see the final submissions with flat coloring vs. 3D/more gradient coloring (similar to #27, 28, & 29)

Hello,

Just posted the requested revisions. I have included only 1 color option for each font changes, because otherwise the task would have exponentially increased and instead of 28 color options, I would had to upload 28 x 4 = 112 logos. So instead, I have made all the color options with the main font and the others are just for reference in the top ranked color.

If you choose a specific color-combination I can easily change it in with one of the other fonts, but please be specific.

thank you,

Congratulations on winning the contest! After all the choices you provided, we ended up liking the original blue/orange with the original font you chose.

As for the final files, several formats could work. We use Adobe Illustrator as well as Microsoft Publisher. A JPEG could work, but we also need the design with a "clear" background (not just white). My administrative assistant says this could be done as a .png file (portable network graphic).

Also, could you let us know the name of the font that is on the winning design so that we can duplicate it in newsletters/publications if need be?

Thanks again!
