Great idea and thank you for sharing. It makes sense that we would use purple but we don't really like the color purple seems to be the problem. Maybe if we tied it in with blacks, grey it could neutralize? We have decided to remove the cross from our logos as we want to reach people who may not be christian as well. Hope that helps
