This I liked, but my daughter (who is the inspiration for the school) thought it looked like spider people. I saw a cross instead.

Maybe a variation without circles (I know those are the heads..)

Could I see this is some more colors?

The addition of the circle is meant to suggest a compass feel, like learning and guidance.

There are other colors I can do with this circle of people and stained glass effect but for now keeping it two process colors with this and #211. The overlay creates three color effect.

To elaborate, the icon shows group camaraderie, diverse color, sunburst of "light" or spark of learning.
