The orange ribbon could be a trademark for you, by always keeping it going trough the page, the business card or the Website. Less the colours in your log, gives you a wider choice of photos to fit in your promotions.
I like to keep my designs simple, intelligent and clean, so the client won't have any problems with the reproduction of the logo at any size on any medium.
