Is there any changes you would like to see? Font change, color change or less colors? I don't want to make the logo overly busy nor make it look like one of the thousands of similar logos on the internet. I googled "vet logos" and found that most look like one another. I wanted it to make it unique with a brandable look. If you would like to see a more serious tone, I can do more realistic animals too, please take a look at my portfolio (click on my screen name next to my avatar) and let me know if there is a style there that you prefer. :)
We really love the #78. Can you please focus on that and design a clear images of dog and cat inside both hearts. My team and I really love it. Please, focus on that one and make any suggestions . Please save the #78 as sample and lets make any improvement .
Thank you for the feedback. :) It really helps to get a better understanding to the client's needs and likes. I'll try with a stylized version of the vet emblem. Do you know if the emblem is an association thing and if its rights are owned by a particular group?
I just want to be sure that it is something that can be used and not be a problem for you in the future. Also, (and this is just a matter a personal opinion): Can the emblem be done in a simplified style. The reason I ask is that when you add a logo within a logo it can start to compete with the company brand. If I can make it still look official but within the style of the rest of the logo it will have a more integrated look without appearing too busy. Hope that made sense.
I'm not sure if it was noticeable, but the squares served two purposes: as a window to make it look like a home and it was a way to incorporate the cross associated with medicine without infringing on the American Red Cross. Now in seeing the new slogan (I like it) I will do a version with a door, just to see how it looks. I think it will tie very nicely with the logo.
Feel free to throw out any other thoughts you may have. :)
Congrats in advance! Please focus on #91. We love it because it has 3Dimenssional.
Please review two things on that one:
1- it is possible to shift a little bite the 2 hearts on the left side in order to make the business name more visible? As a reminder, this logo will go on the side of the big van, we do not want the hearts to obstruct the name of the organization. Also the logo will go on business cards, invoices and t-shirts.
2- please try to make a distinct picture of cat and the dog as both seem to be look similar.
Many thanks for your hard work that is going to pay off shortly . Please keep the # 91 so we can compare when you make the above changes.
I have the files ready to upload and realized that the contest is in "judging mode". Only the designer ranked in first place can upload. In order for me to be able to upload, you would need to place me in first and once uploaded, you can rerank.
Please send me a note so that I receive a notification that I can upload. :)
I had asked about this previously in my comments: "Do you know if the emblem is an association thing and if its rights are owned by a particular group?" but never heard back, so I'm nit sure if you are aware of it or not.
A couple of weeks ago I contacted the AVMA legal department while I was waiting on for your response and finally got a call back on the 14th. Unfortunately the use of the emblem within a logo would be an infringement of the AVMA copyright. It cannot be used as part of another trademark. For clarification please contact:
