Give me just a few minutes. 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #281 Could we have this one as a transparent logo (so it can go on any colour background) with the dark grey colour from #274? That will be the winner for me. Is it also possible to get the all black logo and all white logo in the files both as transparent backgrounds? Thanks Janis, really pleased with this one! 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #281 Thanks, that's great, not sure the background colour works but the logo stands out nicely! 2 years ago janisart commented on #279 You've got it! 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #279 One last request.... Could you try this one on a pastel pale green background with the background of the inside of the heart in white? Thanks! 2 years ago janisart commented on #277 Color is the easiest part of the design. I will work with you to make sure you get the exact combination you are looking for. 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #277 That works. Not my first choice but it does work. Thank you! 2 years ago janisart commented on #278 Withdrawn Wrong file, my apologies 2 years ago janisart commented on #273 Absolutely! 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #273 Just thinking of a business card, could we try it on a green background and possibly with the leaves coloured also? Sorry just checking what works and what doesn't. 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #274 Could you try a slightly lighter grey? Go as far as you think is acceptable please, thanks! 2 years ago janisart commented on #274 Dark gray in place of black. 2 years ago janisart commented on #273 White on black background 2 years ago janisart commented on #267 Withdrawn Of course. I’m not quite at my desk but I’ll send over those options soon. 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #267 Withdrawn I think this will be the winner. I know I've been saying not on coloured backgrounds but is it possible to try this with white pen colour and a contrasting background colour? Thinking about business cards and website and want to get a feel for how it looks. Also could we try it using a dark grey instead of black please? Many thanks Janis. 2 years ago janisart commented on #267 Withdrawn Of course, you can have the color version as well as the black/white, that's standard. 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #267 Withdrawn Prefer this one. White background only please, thanks! 2 years ago janisart commented on #267 Withdrawn Here are two different greens 2 years ago janisart commented on #266 Withdrawn I did two greens here, one brighter, one toned down for contrast. 2 years ago janisart commented on #116 Absolutely. I'll send one over soon. 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #116 I'm happy with this but a few people have made comments on what this would look like with a bit of colour. Could you knock up a couple of examples with a little colour in them? Thinking the obvious bit is within the leaves. Thanks 2 years ago janisart commented on #116 Hello. I just wanted you to know that I am perfectly willing to look for other fonts if you’re not 100% happy with this one. Just give me the word and I’ll be on it! Best regards, Janis 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #116 Of the iterations I'm going to pick this one as this is actually the preferred option so far having spent a while looking at them 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #186 Withdrawn Thanks prefer the #187 version so have moved that one into the ranking and will reject this one. Was expecting 400-50 entries, struggling to keep up with all the entries. Will have to start narrowing down soon. 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #185 Withdrawn Thanks janisart, will come back to you on this later 2 years ago janisart commented on #186 Withdrawn Here are changes to this one. I changed our the font and used mixed case for 'Love of'. I am just up early having coffee and having fun working on your project! : ) 2 years ago janisart commented on #185 Withdrawn Okay! I've used your markup to make changes to the O's here. The entire name 'Love of Wood' is perfectly centered underneath the Heart/tree graphic. : ) 2 years ago DrewBarnes added markup for #64 Withdrawn 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #64 Withdrawn Could you remove the W branches and add two more leaves in their place so I can see what that would look like? Will markup to show what I mean 2 years ago janisart commented on #117 Withdrawn I’ll continue to work on my design until it’s perfect. It’s after 9:00 pm so it will be tomorrow before I can send over any new designs. Thank you for your interest in my design! 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #117 Withdrawn Sorry just realised I've put the comment on #116 instead of this one! 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #116 Thanks janisart for your persistence in finding the right font. When I was referring to slimming down the Os I was thinking about making them less round rather than squeezing the spaces between the letters. Is this possible? 2 years ago DrewBarnes added markup for #116 2 years ago janisart commented on #156 Withdrawn Here's another sans serif, fixed width font that could work. I'll check in later for feedback, I know you are away for the day. 2 years ago janisart commented on #117 Withdrawn Here's the adjustment to the 1st ranked design. I've centered the tip of the heart in between the O and the F in the word of. Then I made all of the O's a tiny bit thinner. Love and Wood are perfectly centered below the heart now. 2 years ago janisart commented on #112 Withdrawn Thank you. I will certainly give it a try! 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #112 Withdrawn Potential solution for you... move the of so that the tip of the heart is pointing to the middle of the gap between the o and f instead of the middle of the word. Then the change needed by slimming down the Os is reduced so you can get away with slimming all 3 Os including the one in love to achieve the result we are after I think. I'm on a training course all day tomorrow so won't respond until the evening. 2 years ago janisart commented on #116 Trying another font. 2 years ago janisart commented on #115 Withdrawn This font is a monospaced or fixed width san serif, so each letter takes up the same amount of space. I will keep looking! 2 years ago janisart commented on #112 Withdrawn It would only work if I slim down the 2 O's in WOOD, but not the O in LOOD....which might look odd. I am looking at other fonts now. That was one reason I did the overlapping O's on one of my design, so that Wood and Love would take up the exact amount of space. I'll stay after it until we have a solution. 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #112 Withdrawn As there's two Os one side and one the other would slimming the Os down further work? 2 years ago janisart commented on #112 Withdrawn I've made the changes on this one as you have requested. Of is exactly centered under the heart, elongated the tails on the L and the E, shaped the O's to be thinner. Wood still takes up a tiny bit more space than Love. If I space LOVE out more I think it will look off. I am looking at other fonts that are very similar and may be easier for me to justify the words Love and Wood so that they will use the exact amount of space. 2 years ago janisart commented on #111 Withdrawn Absolutely. I’ll work in making those changes and send a new one over soon. Thanks for your excellent feedback! 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #111 Withdrawn Okay only minor tweaks on the text of this one now. Can you move the OF so that it's straight in the centre of the heart instead of just off to the left. And then to stop it being lobsided can you slim the 3 Os so they are more oval and lengthen the trails on the E and L so the letters are more similar in size. Appreciate this may be tricky but it will make this design as good as it can be. Currently my favourite but we are still on day 1. 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #67 Withdrawn Think the original font was better, so will reject this one. 2 years ago janisart commented on #81 Withdrawn Got it, I can change that easily. Thanks! 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #81 Withdrawn Not a fan of the interlinked OO but otherwise good. 2 years ago janisart commented on #81 Withdrawn Another idea : ) 2 years ago janisart commented on #64 Withdrawn Shortened the 'branches' on the W. : ) 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #53 Withdrawn As mentioned on the black and white version of this, I like this one, but prefer the white background as the image will be laser etched, so any background colour is a no-no. 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #58 Withdrawn Not so keen on this one, the font is not right for me, think it might be just a little too bold especially the top font 2 years ago janisart commented on #55 Withdrawn Thank you for your feedback. I'll continue to work on improving, in particular, the W. 2 years ago DrewBarnes commented on #55 Withdrawn Font is good, like the tree image although not sure if the W can be improved on, feels just a little elongated to me 2 years ago janisart commented on #53 Withdrawn Hi. Here's my design for your logo project. Thanks in advance for your consideration and any feedback you provide is appreciated! Best regards, Janis 2 years ago
