Thank you so much for this design! Would you mind showing it in the other color scheme as well? And we'd love to see the torch outside of the circle (that is, more free and dynamic).
Thank you so much for your feedback! Just so I'm clear, did you want to see a design with the torch that is not an emblem/circle or did you mean something else? :)
Hi-- That's exactly what I meant--the torch not enclosed in a circle. Sorry not to be clear! And we'd love to see other ideas you might have as well. Thank you very much!
Hi again, We also want to say how much we like your other designs as well! You have a fun and dynamic style and a really nice sense of how to balance different elements. In particular, we like the designs you did for Captured Memory, My VegiBox, The Maumelle Players, Quiet Creek and Rosenthal JCC Early Education Center. Would you be willing to submit something that has that spirit to it? Thank you!
Hi Faith-- We really like these new options! Thank you so much for them. We're glad to keep moving the contest in new directions. Could you make the figure in #80 a little bit older? It's a program for undergrads (18-22) so perhaps a teenager or young adult rather than a child? You could also do a young graduate. Also the font in #80 is very nice--it's more youthful. As always, we're very grateful for your designs!
Yes, I realized the figure was too young after I submitted it. I wanted to wait to see if you liked it at all. I will change it to an older figure :) Thank you so much for your feedback.
Hi Faith, Thanks for re-entering. We're still really liking the young grad figure leaning against something as part of the logo design. Could you try out something other than the torch-a book maybe, or a tree, or a building? (The flame seems to indicate to some of us an echo of memorialization that we'd rather avoid.) Thank you!
Please feel free to be playful as well. As we mentioned earlier, we like the liveliness of some of your entries to other contests. We'll be using this logo in print and on promotional items, so a skinny font would also work.
Oh, the book is nice! The two grads facing each other seems a little bit like a yearbook but the concept is a good one. Thank you so much for continuing to work on this with us.
Hi, Maybe just one profile instead of the two facing one another? Or, a grad cap without the head/face? We don't want to clutter it--it will have to print very small on occasion--but want to make sure the book concept in #151 stays recognizable. Also, could you replace the torch in #94 with a different image? Or does that ruin the idea that you are suggesting? Thanks for your hard work on this--
