I very much like the "L" on top of the logo, and I think this is a very professional look. The colours are a bit subtle and could be perked up a bit.

I looked at it for a few hours and came up with these alternatives.
Because the colours are very striking I went with a natural flowing line art
in the symbol to contrast - I think it works to add someting more..
