Longfellow Community CouncilLogo Design Contest

We like the cleanness and simplicity of #52. However, we feel it lacks a sense of evoking "community" and "welcoming." We would love to see any ideas you have for helping the design better incorporate those elements. Some of our ideas: make the windows bigger and change the coller to yellow to evoke lights being on inside, and change the color of "Longfellow" from black to green. Another idea is to make it a single rooftop instead of two, and add an image evoking the canopy of a shade tree in place of the other rooftop.

Sure, i will redesign the #52, just i have a doubt, about what you say: "add an image evoking the canopy of a shade tree in place of the other rooftop" i didn't understand this words, maybe if you can explain it with others it would be helpful!! :)

Hi Diana,

Instead of two houses, have one house. In place of the other house, add the top of a tree.

Thanks! We like #115. Could you incorporate two additional requests with that design?

1. The blue lines at the bottom- could they be made to give a stronger impression of a river? If the river symbolism could made a little stronger, without making it a literal drawing of a river

2. The roof of the house- could the portion on the right side be removed so its just a single rooftop?\
